Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-08-06

1. Who we are

The website en16931.dev and the associated API service (the “Service”) are operated by Anton Bogoslov, sole proprietor (private entrepreneur, PE) registered in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia (“we”, “us”). Contact: hello@en16931.dev.

2. What the Service is

The Service is a developer tool for validating, generating and converting electronic invoice documents in formats based on the EN 16931 semantic model (including Factur-X, UBL 2.1 and UN/CEFACT CII). The Service is currently in an early-access phase; features and limits may change before general availability.

3. What the Service is not

The Service is a technical format layer only. It is not a French Plateforme Agréée or any other government-accredited transmission platform; it does not transmit invoices to public portals, does not perform e-reporting, and does not by itself make you or your customers compliant with any law. Nothing provided through the Service or this website constitutes legal or tax advice. You are responsible for confirming your own regulatory obligations.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate information when requesting access or creating an account, keep your API keys confidential, and use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt the Service, probe or circumvent its security, resell access without our written consent, or submit content you have no right to process.

5. Fees and payment

Paid plans are billed as subscriptions. Payments are processed by Paddle acting as merchant of record; Paddle's checkout terms apply to the purchase transaction. Prices are stated on the website and may change with notice; changes apply from your next billing period. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

6. Your data

Invoice payloads you send to the API are processed transiently to produce the response and are not stored after the request completes, as described in the Privacy Policy. You retain all rights to your content; you grant us only the limited right to process it to provide the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its documentation and this website are our property or that of our licensors. EN 16931 is a European standard of CEN; Factur-X, ZUGFeRD, XRechnung and other format names are specifications or marks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by any of these bodies.

8. Availability and changes

During early access the Service is provided without an uptime commitment. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. We will not materially reduce what you have already paid for during a paid period without offering a remedy.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Validation results are produced against published rule sets and may not reflect every national or sector-specific requirement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for penalties, fines or losses arising from your or your customers' regulatory non-compliance.

11. Termination

You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, with notice where practicable.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected where they apply.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; the current version is always published on this page with its effective date. Material changes will be announced by email to account holders.
